Agape Christian Academy

The house which I am to build is great, for our God is greater than all gods.

VISION

To educate and train a generation that will make a difference in society through a Christ-Centered philosophy of education.

MISSION

To train and develop the whole child in their spirit, soul, and body using a professional and dedicated team of teachers in order to raise a distinct generation.

Student Spiritual Goals

Agape has clearly defined goals regarding the students´ spiritual development. They cover four main areas:

Biblical Content
Students receive curriculum instruction, providing students clear and measurable expectations for learning.

Biblical Worldview
Students are able to express why they believe what they believe, and are able to make choices based on the Word of God.

Christian Character
Christians should pursue that which reflects godly character: “For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.” -2 Peter 1:5-8

Christian Service
Students become leaders and encouragers in serving others.

Christian Philosophy of Education

Christ-centered
In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:3). Every aspect of education: spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical is to be Christ-centered and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Bible-centered
The Bible is the core foundation to educate a successful, world-impacting generation. This foundation will be evidenced in every class, subject, teacher, and curriculum of our school.

Student-oriented

In order to serve the intellectual, spiritual, social, physical, and emotional needs of our students, we must constantly have the goal of their success in our thoughts, attitudes, prayers, and actions.

Spirit-filled
Every aspect of education must be led by the Holy Spirit in order to train children to flow into the calling of God on their lives.

Accreditations

Accreditation involves the evaluation of standards and quality criteria previously established by an accrediting agency or body. The procedure includes a self-evaluation of the institution itself, as well as an evaluation by a team of external experts. The accrediting agencies or bodies are in turn accredited regularly. In all cases it is a temporary validation, for a series of years. It is based on a set of relatively basic and homogeneous principles, although the diversity of models is extensive.
A valid accreditation process provides standards and procedures by which an institution can establish its credibility before witnesses.

Cognia

CASE STUDY

The Secret of Success

Agape Christian Academy faces a very exciting challenge: prepare students for life. We have determined to help every student overcome obstacles and experience the joy of learning. To meet these challenges, every stakeholder in the school community plays an active role. We work together within our school and with other fellow schools and organizations in a collaborative effort to foster student success. One of the most important pillars on which we ground our efforts is the Word of God, which does not come back void.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth,
but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do
according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way
prosperous, and then you will have good success.
